Title: Record Flac/WavPack on the fly to CD-Audio
Post by: .halverhahn on 2005-04-20 18:25:42
Nero is able to record on the fly (via plugin) Flac/WavPack to CD-Audio.
Is there any other software that support "on the fly" recording of Flac/WavPack?

--- edit

I would to favour free software like burrrn ;-)

Maybe Adobe Audition with the respective filters...?

I know burrrn supports these formats, but I think the stream is decoded to wave first...

What about Easy CD-DA Extractor:  http://www.poikosoft.com (http://www.poikosoft.com)

They have recently added native FLAC 1.1.2 encoding/decoding support.

unfortunately you're right.
Or is it possible to pipe the decoded stream to the burnengine?

Piping to burner is possible, since I've successfully piped the line-in to a burning engine for single-speed live recording. The difficulty comes in adding track divisions, since the "pipe" is a continuous feed.
