Title: Foobar2000 for Android 1.1.17, problem with UMX files
Post by: mlatu on 2018-07-13 11:38:26
Hello,
I have a folder of UMX files from Deus Ex on my phone, which used to be ok for playback, but now makes foobar crash whenever I try to open it via "External Storage" or when I add it as a media library folder, that crashing persists restarts, meaning once I navigate to that folder, foobar will crash, even when i restart the phone. Deleting appdata stops the crashes.

I'm at work right now, and don't have the proper usb cable to check each file (or to download the umx files fresh from steam), but I moved all into another folder and then tried 3 of them to see wether it's just one corrupted file.
In conclusion to this test either all my umx files are corrupted and foobar is fine,
or
foobar has a problem reading umx files.

Is there a log file or debug mode I could open/activate to investigate this further?

I can answer problems regarding the portions of the code base which I was responsible for. I have no idea why the UMX format would be causing a crash now. I was going to overhaul the module code base anyway and substitute foo_openmpt54 as a replacement codebase, if only because it would be way more mobile device friendly, especially the song length probing.
