Title: F13 - F24 shortcut UI nitpicking
Post by: snxxfuzz on 2018-08-15 10:16:54
I have one of those geeky programmable keyboard running opensource firmware called QMK which allow all sorts of fancy keys (https://beta.docs.qmk.fm/keycodes).
So to avoid windows and other software jacking my media key. I use F13 - F24 instead since they're unlikely hard-coded to anything on any system or software.

Problem is foobar don't know what key they are... They work perfectly fine though. Just not as pretty-looking as other key.
Would love to see a tweak in the future. :)
(sorry if this belong in general forum)

Thanks for the report.
Clearly Windows GetKeyNameText() function does not recognize these, even though their codes are defined in Windows headers.
I'll address this for the next update.

I also think this would be a great feature to allow more macro functionality for foobar! I'm using an ID75 keyboard with QMK and am trying to make extra macros that won't conflict with other software. I could really use the F13-F24 keys as well!
