i need a little help ...

can someone explain to me how to add index points to a flac file, e.g. to mark portions of songs for songs like 2112 by rush or change of seasons by dream theater.  i heard from josh coalson about it and he said i have to make a cuesheet and put it in the cuesheet meta block 

is anyone willing to help me write a cuesheet (i'm not sure what it is and what its syntax is) and then help me add it to the appropriate metablock.

i looked in the help that comes with flac, and on the website, and couldn't really find anything.
