save the log to disk?

Hi all,

i'd like to save *all* the console output from a foobar2000 session automaticly to a file on my harddrive.

Is this achievable with a pluging or something else?

I use the Console panel 0.4 plugin for showing the log-lines on screen, but it does not allow to save to a file *and* it only keeps some lines, not all lines from a session.
foo_uie_console.dll (2010-12-27 13:25:52 UTC)

Any ideas on this?
thanks a lot.

use the console found on the view menu. this supports writing to disk. i just noticed the setting doesn't persist between restarts so you'll have to remember to check it each time.

Hey Thanks!
its better than nothing, though the saved file cannot be opened while foobar200 is running.

EDIT:
actually, the written file is cutted in the same way, the console output is. which makes the option to save the text to a file pretty useless imho.

the best (but very inconveniend) way is to copy text segments from the console.

a pitty.

Hello,
I'd like to bump this,
anyone has a way to save a continious log to disk? not just the truncated console-output.
Cheers!

Try foo_devconsole. But I am not sure if it really do what you want - I just recall a special console output related component.
