DSF Files not opening

I have suddenly started getting the following error while trying to play .dsf (SACD) files

Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported file format):

I have tried every possible fix without any result.

I am using version 2.24

looking for help

Did you just upgrade, and if so: new install? Same 32/64?

Please provide detailed track info for .dsf.
What DSD DSC are you using?
Is it the same as your setup?

Preferences > Tools > SACD > Type > DSD+PCM or DSD
Preferences > Playback > Output > ASIO + DSD: DSD DAC Audio Device
