Foobar 2.24 / 64 bit - vst visualization not working

After update to v2.24 vst visualization is not working properly.
View -> visualizations -> visualize with VST = every plugin works about 30 seconds and after that time the visualization becomes very choppy.

Secure Age flags the 2.24 installer file as malware. I encountered some irregularities after installation. Disabled services were launched, some sparely used apps were running on the dedicated GPU, which never happened before. Anyone having the same issues?

No, not all. "Disabled services were launched"--are you sure you didn't get an Edge or Windows Update around the same time??

A 1/71 flag on Virus Total by "Secure Age" is basically meaningless as far as deeming anything "malware."

Same here. FB 2.24, 64bit, Win10. VST Visualisations are very choppy. It was working OK with 2.1.16.

Does "Use Hardware Acceleration" or longer output buffer length apply to VST?
I use foobar2000 as is to listen to live radio streams, and never used any DSP, so no experience with those.
