Words like violence break the silence
Come crashing in into my little world
Painful to me, pierce right through me
Can't you understand? Oh, my little girl
[Chorus]
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm
[Instrumental Break]
[Verse 2]
Vows are spoken to be broken
Feelings are intense, words are trivial
Pleasures remain, so does the pain
Words are meaningless and forgettable
[Chorus]
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed is here in my arms

I'll make an official release if @spongebob128 confirms log mutilations like these don't cause issues for log consumers.
Thank you for this great efforts. I wish I had such god like powers (this week I found that my code mistake caused an engineering results disaster). I guess the main consumer of the log is the Dynamic Range Database "https://dr.loudness-war.info/". I currently I do not have any insight in what the DR Database submission code will except or won't except (though I guess I could test it myself). From my understanding, a main pain for the database website is the problems with the RIAA (music industry piracy enforcement) if the submissions are not carefully screened to make sure they do not contain any music download information. This means the log file may be extremely restricted to be a certain format. Currently, they only have to check the "Comments Field" for "bad" information (yes, they check every one).
The runner of site seems to have some motivation to maybe change the code if necessary. In this post:

Downmixes are problematic because if all the tracks of a 5.1 mix are extremely compressed, the downmix would still look and measure rather good. So, DR values of stereo downmixes of surround mixes have no real significance. There are also many ways to downmix, like at which volumes you mix the different channels, like rear channels at -3 dB or -6 dB.
I agree that downmixing opens up a whole can of worms, especially for coming up with repeatable authoritative DR numbers.
Providing the individual surround channel numbers seems to be good solution. The only addition is that I would like to see the RMS numbers too. In this way you can get a "feeling" for how much a channel's DR number would effect the overall DR. An average "pseudo peak" could always be inferred by (DR + RMS) for a track so the actual peak value is not that important.

Last post by Defender -These are the changes:
1.44 2025-04-16
Rightclick on Library Search button now Shows Recently added.
Changed default blur overlay value blur_ovl to 160 from 120 which ensures a bit more contrast. Especially with bright images in combination with a high blur factor.
Added optional dynamic blur (instead of standard blur with overlay) for non-artist logo images. Enable by setting blur_dyn to a value other than 0. Default DISABLED.
Entered value is the maximum alpha you want for very bright images. I use 0.35 as an absolute maximum with the standard colourscheme.
NB. When dynamic blur is activated, blur overlay which is still active for artist logo's can be lowered.
Preset 3 uses dynamic blur 0.35 for non-logo's and has blur 1.0 and blur overlay lowered to 80 from 120 for artist logo's.
Preset 4 has blur disabled fully now and uses scaled margin 4 instead of scaled margin 12, because after a small generic adjustment in the skin panel code now.
no further adjustments have to be made for different windows scalings (100/125/150/175/200/225/250/300/350).
Small fix in JS3_Thumbs retrieving artistpics from YTTM for artists with dots in the name. This requires updating the Custom folders.
Updated JS3_Properties+Info to use dropshadow on tags and values for better contrast against light backgrounds.
Added JS3_Smooth Playlist Manager which also uses dropshadow now.

3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k) / Re: Fade-in/out DSP
Last post by wcs13 -When I DJ, 95% of the time I don't need to fade-out or crossfade tracks.
It's only some specific songs that are a bit too long and deserve to be faded out at the right moment.
That's why I can't use foobar's default fade options, if that means they're going to be enabled all the time.
What I need is a fade-out solution that's OFF by default, but that I can turn ON, just for ONE track (so it automatically turns off afterwards), by pressing a hotkey. That's all.
Like I said, imagine if a checkbox "Go to the next song after the fade-out" could be added to any fade-out component. I don't know if that can be done.

foobar2000 mobile / Support for "Album Artist" tag in foobar2000 mobile (for proper scrobbling)
Last post by Mike_de -
I’ve noticed an issue with the mobile version of foobar2000 when it’s used together with external scrobblers like PanoScrobbler (in my case), and I wanted to ask if support for the album artist tag could be added.
Right now, foobar2000 mobile doesn’t seem to pass the album artist metadata to the scrobbler. This causes problems when scrobbling compilation albums or soundtracks. Since the scrobbler doesn't receive the album artist info, Last.fm defaults to using the track artist as the album artist – which leads to incorrect album entries.
For example:
If I play "Jungle Boogie" by Kool & the Gang from the "Pulp Fiction" soundtrack, Last.fm ends up creating an album "Pulp Fiction" under Kool & the Gang. This happens for every artist on the album, resulting in multiple “fake” albums instead of a single Various Artists – Pulp Fiction entry.
This is how it's supposed to look like:
https://www.last.fm/user/Nick-Valentine/library/music/Various+Artists/Pulp+Fiction
foobar2000 on PC handles this correctly and includes the album artist tag when sending info to the scrobbler. It would be great if the mobile version could do the same.
Thanks a lot for reading, and for all the work on this great player!
Best regards,
Mike
