Help me please Foobar and Sotm card

Hello, my name is Paolo and am writing from nord Italy.
I have built a server for music with Intel mini itx DN2800MT motherboard and Sotm tx USB exp card to have an high quality USB3.0 output. My player is Foobar2000. The only setting that i have made is 24bit output. Result: the sound reproduction run intermittent. I have tried to modify the buffer size of Foobar but the result is the same. Through motherboard Usb outputs the reproduction come out fluently. My OS is Windows8.
Is there anyone that can help me please ?
