I've used the dBpoweramp CLI extension (within dBpoweramp music converter) to easily convert lossless files into compressed m4a and LAME music files, but trying to do it with Ogg Vorbis is proving to be a pain. With those two, all I had to do was input the compression setting, and it was fine. That's not the case with Ogg Vorbis. Simply put, the files aren't converting correctly. They, in fact, say "0 bytes", and have no tag or audio info at all. I'm using this command line:
-q 2.9 -if [infile] -of [outfile]
I've done numerous searches and have come up with nothing. Would anybody know the correct parameters to put into the command line to make it work?
Are you sure ogg requires -if and -of ? the autov cli is:
-q 2.9 - -o "[outfile]"

Using this commandline gave me mixed results. With one album, I was able to create perfect Ogg Vorbis files that played just fine, and the metadata was there. The other one? The one I was having problems with? That's still the case. Check out this error message:

Error writing audio data to StdIn Pipe [clEncoder::EncodeBlock] It's what dBpoweramp produced with every song file in that album which I tried to convert to Ogg. But both albums, though, will convert from flac to ogg with no problems at all whatsoever in foobar2000. Maybe there's something in the commandline there that's making that happen successfully:
-s %r --ignorelength -Q -q2.900000 - -o %d
First I would try the standard and tested dBpoweramp Ogg encoders (including the autov 5.1)
