Any way to get Foobar onto an Ipad 3 with IOS 9.3.6?

I have an Ipad 3 with IOS 9.3.6, that is connected to my stereo, so that I can play music from my NAS. But I'm currently using VLC, because Foobar doesn't support this old OS version anymore (and VLC is not what I want to use as an audio player).
All I can see in the changelog of Foobar mobile is that version 1.1.39 (from 2019-04-18) had iOS version 9.0 as the lowest supported iOS.
What is the latest Foobar version that still ran on 9.3.6 - and is there a way to get it onto my Ipad 3? Thanks.
