Android Auto

Hello experts,

I'm new here and I am sorry if I am writing this at the wrong place or if it is not related at all.
I saw that there is a version of Foobar2000 for Android phones and I was wondering if it is the same Foobar2000 as for Windows.
Since there is still development and improvements of Foobar2000, why is there no support for Android Auto on the Android version?
Will it ever support Android Auto?
