I recently downloaded some MP3tracks from a P2P and found that after a the first few seconds of the track the music stopped and was replaced with a high pitched squeal. Assuming a corrupt download, I tried again form another source- same result. Tried again completely different track and artist, same result. I would imagine it's some sort of protection. Can anybody shed some light on this?
Regards,
Rick
RIAA has been sharing false files for years on some peer to peer networks. I guess you got one of those.
How about getting the cd legally.
