3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k) / Re: External Tags
Last post by Case -
That's how properties dialog works. It doesn't call tagging functions unless something actually changes. I have been trying to tell about that since the 10th day. You wanted Edit command not to write anything until Properties dialog confirms the write and now it's implemented. But remember that I also added a "Create External Tags" command that will force-write external tags to tracks. The command is hidden by default so seeing it requires holding shift when opening the menu or ticking its checkbox in context menu preferences to make it always visible.

I'm having problem with the graphic equalizer. For some reason GE cannot remember to stay on.
So, if I stop a song and then start another, equalizer looses all settings and goes flat.
I'm using Foobar2k 1.4 beta 6.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks

General - (fb2k) / Play a specific time from a Track
Last post by Dojando -
I have looked for a feature like that for a few hours now but couldn't find any solutions or plugins for that.
I have lots of songs downloaded from youtube, because lots of my favourite artists are only youtubers who make covers or their own kind of music. The quality isn't thaaat bad ... well ok sometimes it is but I don't care ^^
But that's not the Point. Lots of those songs have an intro or outro from the video itself.
Is there any feature in Foobar2000 or any plugin with which I can mark only a specific time the track is playling.
Like from 20 seconds to 3:30 minutes instead of 0:00 to 4:21 ?

General Audio / Re: fb2k's foo_hdcd not as good as hdcd.exe?

None of them. I don't kick in "10 seconds into the song". It enables the decoder if there are consecutive frames within the first 10 seconds of the song. It also rewinds back to the beginning and applies the effects from the start. Or at least it's supposed to.

It only scans the first 10 seconds, because otherwise, it would have to be enabled at all times, and would only start to take effect on tracks the moment the first audio packet is discovered.
