EAC FLACs Skipping

Apologies if this has been covered before, I searched and came up empty. I've been making FLACs with the newest version of Exact Audio Copy and everything is great except for a majority of songs skipping right around the beginning. It's not the CDs themselves, it happens with scratched up ones and pristine ones. I haven't adjusted any settings. Is there a way to fix this?

Could it be a fault with the drive your ripping with?

!st thing I'd do is to go to the drive options and run the drive feature tests and do the offset tests. This could determine if your drive is operating properly.
