A while ago noticed some tags not getting preserved when converting, namely mp3>mp3. Is there still no fix for this? I've been using Default as I did have extra info ie tracks' keys added to the filename but now I've stopped using that way of naming I can't see keys at all after converting. Trying to use Custom %a-%t just gives me unknown-unknown

Not to answer your question, but ... why? Lossy --> lossy should be avoided if you can.
Obviously but converting 320 mp3 to vbr for iphone/pad, it would at least be nice to keep artist and title correct
