CUERipperB - My first attempt at a ripping program

Actually the title is quite misleading. This is a command-line test for CUETools ripping module. Please, test it thoughly.
This is a simple command line program. It tries to copy a CD from a first CD drive found in the system and saves it to a current directory.

New version:

Old versions:

Please, post here did it work for you or not. Include your CD drive model. If it doesn't work at all, please also include the logs/screenshots/whatever. If it doesn't work on a certain CD, please post a EAC-generated CUE sheet for this CD.

UPD B: 'Get Speed failed' error fixed, if you're getting this error - try this update.
UPD C: Fixed error with drive offset detection on some drives.
Fixed error with CDs that have tracks with flags (PRE/DCP).
If you have two cd-drives, you can now select which one to use (e.g. CUERipper.exe --drive E)
Error correction algorithm added. Program works twice slower now
UPD D: Hopefully should work on more drives.
Slowing down extraction speed on certain retries intentionaly.
UPD E: More drives supported.
UPD F: Should be faster
UPD I: PLEXTOR DVDR PX-760A subchannel problem fixed

It would be nice if this functionality gets included in cuetools.

I Ripped 2 discs accurately with a Pioneer 110D unit under win2003 x64. Speed varied between 18x and 25x.

Worked beautifully on a Pioneer DVR-111L, everything except for AR lookups that is. I tried three discs, two of which had AR according to EAC, and neither registered in CUERipper.

...the cuesheets (indices) are different though.

they were both accurate with the same confidence numbers (EAC vs cueripper).

Thanks a lot for your input. The testing continues. The focus is now on error correction.
Please, download updated version and try it out on scratched CDs, which EAC had problems with.

CUERipperB - My first attempt at a ripping program

I hope I'm not resurrecting a thread that's too old but this seems like the most appropriate place to report CUERipper issues....

I tried ripping a CD using CUERipper 2.0.6.  My drive model is identified as "TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S203B SB03"  CUERipper will get the disc name and track titles correct but when I press "GO", after about 2-3 seconds I get an error pop-up with the following message "Exception: invalid C2 pointers" and the rip stops.  I tried several CD's and all yield the same results.

I'm really excited to try my luck with CTDB for ripping 3 or 4 of my discs that have 1 track damaged.  They are late 1980's releases and I have not been able to find non-remastered replacements at the local used stores.

Thanks

[a href='index.php?act=findpost&pid=696302']Try this[/a] please. Don't get your hopes up, CTDB is still pretty small compared to AccurateRip database, there's a fat chance your discs are not there yet.

Hello!
Do you plan to add support for editing tags/filenames/file paths?

Thanks

OK, i noticed you can edit output path template by clicking on it (though it behaves little strange, also mouse-over information doesn't appear in right place), but i am still unable to edit filenames.
