Dolby Headphone encoder?

Is there a software encoder (preferably open source / Mac) that can receive as input multichannel audio and produce as output a two channel audio stream encoded using Dolby Headphone or some other similar virtual surround technology for headphones?

I don't know what's available for the Mac.

Dolby Headphone is sometimes included with a soundcard (as part of the driver/utility package) or is built-into some home theater receivers.  And, it's included with some DVD-player software, such as PowerDVD.  (PowerDVD is only for the PC, I think.)

Some soundcards may come with some similar (non-Dolby) effect/feature, but I'm not sure...
