The perfect version of foobar with Altacast?

Hi,
I decided for about two month to use foobar with altacast to feed some of our Webradiochannels. I had a lot of trouble to find the right version which works perfect with Altacast. Sometimes the Encoder was not saved when I restartet the foobar player and with another version the Autoconnect Checkbox was not checked, when I restartet the player.

Then I found out, that everthing works perfect with Foobar 2000 v.14 beta 8 and Altacast 1.1 (portable installation because I have 6 different channels to feed)

That worked now for some months, but now I get the message, that the beta version is expired :(

Does anyone know, which version I could use? Or what would work perfect without any problems.

Thanks for the help!
René

My hobby is sometimes streaming music to web with foobar2000.
i have a lot problems with Edcast and Altacast and i find THE BUTT (butt - broadcast using this tool).
It work fine: no delay of titles when player change the track and always save the configuration.
Download and install the BUTT - https://danielnoethen.de/
Download and install Breakaway Pipeline - http://www.breakawayone.com/downloads/
1. Set Foobar2000 Output - Breakaway Pipeline1
2. Set the Butt settings - Audio - Audio device - Breakaway Pipeline1
Download Foobar2000 plugin Now Playing Simple - http://skipyrich.com/wiki/Foobar2000:Now_Playing_Simple
Create some text file like Foo4.txt in directory C.
That file contains updated track info.
Set the path of file in foobar2000 and in Butt settings as you see in screenshot.

Hi Simon,
thanks fro your help, but I have 6 different Channels that I have to stream, that's why I need a solution with a Streaming or Cast Plugin from or for Foobar2000. I can not use the soundcard.

But now I found out that edcast works very good with the newest foobar2000 1.3.17

Okay. I thought it should work, but it doesn't  :'(
I can not use edcast with different access datas or instances. It just works only with one instance.

Now I updated to the newest Beta Version of Fooplayer2000 and that works, but I can see, that this version is also just working till the end of june.

Is there anybody who can send me a foobar2000.exe without lifetime limit? That would help me a lot!!

Thanks
René

A few alternative possible plugin solutions:

1. http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_vorbisstream

2. http://www.geocities.jp/pirosoft12/

3. https://github.com/torteshui/ShuiCast

Hi Zeremy,

thanks. I tried this Streaming Tool from this japanese page and it seems to be perfect.

But I have a problem to use this at the startup. Normally you can start with "foobar2000.exe /play /command:Streaming Client"
Then the client client will also start automatically. That is what the README told me. But this doens't work.
It works with "foobar2000.exe /play /command:Equalizer" or "foobar2000.exe /play /command:Console" but not when I have 2 words. I also tried with "foobar2000.exe /play /command:Streaming%Client", but that isn't working also.

Can you or somebody tells me how I can get this Streaming Client starting automatically with the Foobar2000 Player?

Thanks a lot
René

How about StreamTranscoderV3? http://ftparmy.com/49824-stream-transcoder.html
You just need transcode main stream to 6 mount points.
StreamTranscoderV3 can do this job.

No, that will not work, because I have different streams. But that was Zeremy told me works perfect for me.

THanks
