Title: Converting AAC -> M4A and preserving tags
Post by: disgustipated on 2005-03-19 00:10:58
Hello, most of my AAC files were encoded with the old Psytel encoder.
I would like to wrap them all up in MP4 (or M4A) containers.

I have tried using MP4creator to do this, and it works, but does not keep the ID3v2 tags.

Is there a way of converting them, whilst preserving the ID3v2 tags in the aac files ?

Sorry if this has been covered before. I found a lot of posts on tags, but didn't seem to find one that described my situation.

You can try foobar2000's mp4 tools.
