Forced 48kHz on android?

I installed the Foobar2000 app on my Zappiti media player and it works fine except for one thing... it doesn't play the files original bitrate. It changes everything to 48 kHz. Why?

When I play the same files using ZappitiMusic (the players native app for music (it sucks. Can’t scroll on FLAC files and no gapless feature) it plays the files original bitrate no matter if it is 44.1 or 192 kHz or anything in between. But as soon as I switch to the Foobar app it doesn’t. I've tried every setting in Foobar and Zappiti that I can think of to no avail.

I know that apple’s airplay changes everything to 48 kHz but does Foobar2000 do the same?
