Foobar Link Phone app

I've recently installed Foobar Link as a phone app by Thomas Decker. I'm having some user issues with it. When I want to listen to new music, is there a way to do it without creating a new playlist?
Is there a way to get it to play from the source/location using the remote? Is there a setting that doesn't stop the music when I get a call, if I want that option?

Hi,
in Foobar2000, go to Preferences > Tools in the Beefweb application. Then, under Music Directories, select the folder for your music library. Then, in FoobarLink, under Playlist in the top right corner, you can add tracks. Select the folder for your music library. All subfolders, albums, etc., will be imported.

Under Settings in FoobarLink, there's a checkbox where you can select whether the music should stop on call or not.

Does changing the volume using the mobile buttons work for you? It doesn't work for me. Perhaps you can give me a tip?
