I checked this on a couple of different computers and on both, the same result. The monitor turns off when playing a youtube video. I think the computer configuration has nothing to do with it.

Preferences > Tools > YouTube Source > Maintenance tab > YouTube API Key: input

Restart foobar
Replacing the oo_youtube.dll.cfg with the one your provided did the trick for me.

I use foo_youtube with yt-dlp to listen to the music of videos. The problem started to happen when playing AAC audio. Playing AAC audio used to work. Playing music with Opus codec was not affected.

Interesting to see that recreating that config file helped to get things moving again. Thank you.

Sorry for dummy question. Am I understand this plugin right? I open some link from YT and foobar open it. Or I must do some magic rituals to make it works?
I add it to my foobar, add all deps. But it didn`nt open yt links still.

In the menu go to File --> Youtube Source --> Add multiple urls. You can now add urls. Make sure you have the tab open you want them to be in.

Hi there. I don't know how to make it work again. I have the latest foobar but I can't make it play a song directly by the URL. I need to open it on browser in order for the song to play.

I want to thank the author for this plugin and  to mention for anyone interested that there is a somewhat hidden function which I always wanted and never knew it existed: If you want search box focus by default when search window pops up, right click title, select "Initial focus to search box".
