converting dsf files to Flac8 16 bit 44100hz

I can't convert. I have the super audio plugin. The dsf files play fine ,they just won't convert. I load the files in. choose quick convert choose 16 bit, flac level 8 and 44100hz in dithering. pick a file to put them in. It keeps asking for a file to put them in. I tried putting them in original folder and also tried a new folder?

Sounds like you are talking about foobar2000. It asks you to locate flac.exe, the program required to encode into FLAC format. Easiest way to make things work is to install the Free Encoder Pack. Once that is installed you are able to convert without questions.

Thanks! That did the trick.
