From: Registering with free email now possible

i just had to know this but...

right now, i'm using an email that a friend of mine gave me(since Comcast is gay and didn't give me shit) and i can make posts fine.

but, if i change my e-mail to my real one, do i still have to wait 5 days? because when i tried to change my e-mail after logging on, it didn't let me because of the fact that it was by a free provider.
