What's the component that this user is using to sort his albums by Genre | Artist | Album? I used to have that but I changed it a long time ago and now I can't remember how to do it.

I do not use CUI, but that looks like a series of filter panels, a part of columns not a separate component.  You can add them to your layout via preferences>Display>CUI>layout

Here's my config, based on Gosha and foo_silk with some enhancements from marc2003's amazing scripts.

Coolest features (and things to do in bold)
  • Album art: cycle through all pictures in folder with mousewheel (WSH Cover Panel Mod)
    Add function that doubleclick on picture returns to currently played track. That's available in the old Album Art Panel
  • Last.fm integration. The warning button is for banning tracks.
    Reintegrate the playback function into the last.fm "chart" tab. That makes the chart tab on the left redundant
  • Show all images in a nice gallery
    Looking for an option to show local pictures and last.fm pictures at the same time

Any suggestions for further enhancements?

The biggest task in the future will be integration of my classical music that requires a whole new tagging (and filter) system. I would basically need two media libraries. 1. Classical Music (two folders), 2. Everything else (5 folders). Best thing would be that I could chose from a drop down menu (or tabs) which media library is active. Anyone has a suggestion on how to do that?

i've spent the last few days verifying my CD rips against the accuraterip database with cue tools and writing the info to my file tags.

Here's mine. I still need to learn how to change the background of the menu bar and, for some reason, the volume bar has this thick borders I don't know how to remove:

Hi,

I'm using http://hanulbi.deviantart.com/art/fooPlace...anulbi&qo=1 as my skin (first attempt to style foobar

I don't have chinese / japan language support here and like to replace the plugin foo_alsong_lyric.dll with anything else that works (I can see only squares on the menu entries for it's functions and it won't download any lyrics automatically).

Can anyone describe how I can replace it with something that actually works?

Here's my updated configuration, which I named CANDY-EYE.
Why? There are 3 main reasons I chose this config.
First, I really, really, really, really, really, really…, really hate configs with high contrast colors like everything in black and white or really dark backgrounds with gleaming sparkly elements, which is extremely hurtful to your eyes.
Second, another thing I personally do not appreciate, is having to click on tabs all the time for whatever reason. So, I reduced the amount of tabs to absolute minimum, keeping almost everything on the same “window”. In a nutshell: simple, practical and efficient, at least for me!
Third, absolutely no programming and scripting skills required!

(PS: All the captions are custom titles in Portuguese.)

Actually it's just two instances of foobar running to get them in same screenshot. Can you check console what it says regarding the error?

It is surprising to note how many hours one can spend configuring and fine-tuning the user interface of foobar2000.

Just a simple UI, nothing fancy, but a very smooth look in my opinion.
I saves a lot of space using the Group Info function of EsPlaylist (or $select(%tracknumber%,...,) in any other playlist)
Gonna add multiple genre support soon.

Edit: meh, downscaling of the image makes the spectrum analyzer look very dark. Zoom in to see actual look.
