Of course not...
With nodisplay you force ELPlaylist to NOT show the image.

Use:
$imageabs(1,4,67,67,%el_group_first_path%,artreader_front nodelay)

LOL. i don't use foo_covers so i just downloaded xchange and opened the .fcl in notepad to find the first reference to artreader in the config. i didn't even know what those additional arguments do. i'll go back and edit my post.

Nice work jeremija
I like About tab the most, I guess there are 3 item details panels, 1 artwork and one biography panel? And how did you get bits/sample as $info(bitspersample) doesn't work for me.

[edit] well bit resolution is not available for lossy files, who knows why

$info(bitspersample) is working, but of course only for files that offer this info (lossless)

[edit] too late...

@2E7AH:
Thanks!
You are right, except there is only one Item Details panel (the biography panel), and the rest are just $drawtextex() functions in PSS.
I didn't need the Item details panel for %lastfm_similar_artist% because it never returns so many similar artists so that a scrollbar is necessary.

EIKO original by dReamxis & Jensen. My changes: added biography, explorer tree, graphical browser, covers & pictures genres in EL playlist.

oh, Maf, this configuration is cool. Big Thanks dReamxis & Jensen and you for the work changes!
It would be cool if you add such "A" letter and make her tab "Now Playing" with Big Cover Art and spectrum analyzer for example. This is only a wish, not necessarily.

Promise I will try it right after I have free time  Really, I like it a lot

hey all -
@falstaff - yeah, noticed the bad reflection too - a 'nokeepaspect' issue, i'll fix that...

@bismuth - give it a go, see what ya think.  you can of course change the playlist setting to your liking, to display stuff like ratings, kbps, etc, etc, etc....  i'm going for a pretty retro layout here - i use the playlist popups for all that stuff to try and keep things neat and simple (notice i don't even display track numbers, just like the back of your lp's!).  if you figure out the dockable panels you could also set up panels for whatever extras you want (they're really quite simple...)

a question - anyone know if it's possible to rotate an image by specific degrees in pss?  if you check out the per second code for the moving tone arm, you can see that i hacked together a rather lengthy solution with 40 different images, called depending on the ratio of playback time/total time - but that seems like a chainsaw solution...  in reading about and playing around with the pss commands it seems that you can only rotate by 90,180, or 270 degrees, what i'd like is to be able to rotate by specific degrees depending upon the same ratio of times...  (hmmm, maybe in a wsh panel?)  or maybe i'm just dreaming...

  thanks -

no. btw, WSH Panel Mod allow this ...

@falstaff
fixed the reflection, here's the new .fcl:
link

i thought that might be possible with the wsh panel, but i have a hard time finding good documentation about the commands - i'm not a programmer, and although i've hacked together wsh panel progress and volume bars, i haven't been able to figure out how to rotate by degree - could you point me in the right direction?

edit:  what i'd REALLY like, is to have the tone arm move AND serve as a progress bar...

thanks -

Could you link your fcl file again?

Thanks for the quick answer for my asking.
I really like this skin due to its antique feelings.

Here, I'd like to ask one more favor.
When I resized my foobar with the proper size, it looks like this.

In this case, everything's O.K.

But, when I resize it into a little small or large size, there is some distortion as follows.
(1) small size

(2) large size

Could you fix these distortions?

Hey!! This configuration is funny, my son loves it, even though I has not been able to do nothing with the dockable panels (downloaded the dll and the option is in preferences... then?). Then there is a white long square in the left upper angle with a SCRIPT ERROR message, but I'm using it and waiting anxiously for future developments, if you are able to perfect more and more the motion effect, it will be fantastic!!!

hey folks -
well, i screwed up  - forgot that i had the script set up for another layout that i use, and that the .txt file with installation instructions was therefore wrong!  had the dockable panels out of order, and the path in the progress bar wrong.  ugh...  think i've got it right now, and i'm sorry for any inconvenience.  i'll do some searching for dockable panel info, i've been using it for quite a while - i know it's an older component.  once you play around with the dockable panels for a while it's really pretty simple.

@rozzo - as i said i'll try to find some info on dockable panels, but play around some and see how they work.  if you've got it installed, under 'view' in the menu you should see the heading 'dockable panels.'  under dockable panels, you should see lots of stuff, including 'New...'  click that, and you should have a new dockable panel in the middle of your screen.  for my setup, right click in this dockable panel, and select 'menu.'    now go back to 'view/dockable panels' in the menu, and select 'active panel.'  click 'hide titlebar.'  repeat, and click 'hide when collapsed.'  now create another panel, and make it the album list.  hide the titlebar, and when collapsed, and the buttons should work for you.        as far as the script error in the progress bar wsh panel, another screw up on my part - should work now with the new .fcl - sorry!

@widerock - no problem, i imagine the menu and album list buttons weren't working for you either - sorry about that!  with this new .fcl they should be fine - or change the per track script to match your dockable panels and save yourself the download.  as for the resizing issue - yeah, i was aware of that - i pretty much set it up to display six covers in the graphical browser - i will work on making the resizing better, and get back to you....

here's the new .fcl - this should finally work!
this one should work!

thanks for the encouragement - i'll keep working on it....

The new flc works fine, now the white SCRIPT ERROR MESSAGE is no more there and I can see the blue point that is the bar. Regarding "dockable panels", the problem is that I get no menu of any kind. I use Ctrl+P to see the preferences, Ctrl+O to add music, because no menu is visible anywhere. The "menu" button does nothing.

Ps: After Changing my visual stile, now I'm able to see the menú, but I cannot use it... it seems that the seek bar is covering it, so when I click on "View" the only thing that happen is the blue point coming there

hey man, sorry about the troubles...    well, for a fix you could right click in the middle of the turntable, select 'add panel/toolbars/menu'.  right click again, and select 'splitter settings'  highlight the second wsh panel, which should have position settings like this:

left
Top
width 42
height 4

enter '10' in 'Top' and click ok.  you should see the menu...  set up the dockable panels, make sure the menu and album art buttons work (!), and then right click just next to the menu.  select close panel, go back into the splitter settings, and reset the 'Top' setting back to 0 in the second wsh panel....
should work...

rock on,
jk
