Press play, get 'preferences'

I'm sure it's really simple, but.....

Been using Foobar successfully on a Windows 10 Surface pro for a while without problems.

Suddenly when I press 'play' I get the 'preferences:output' screen. Same when I press random play, Same if I open a file from the file menu. And whatever I try I cannot get out of the menu and play a track.

What have I done and how can I fix it?

Chris

The output preferences page is opened if your output configuration is incorrect. It could happen if you for example have selected an audio device that is no longer present in the system. Select the default DS output as your output device and you should be good to go.

That was quick and cogent. Thanks. Where can I get an 'today's idiot' badge?
