What is Unrecoverable playback error: Unknown error code (0x8889000A)
Other players don't show any error but I like foobar2000

forgot to mention:
foobar200 version 1.5.3
sound card: creative audigy fx
and Ashampoo Soundstage Pro was in the background
without soundstage foobar2000 plays well but other players like groove music, potplayer etc play with soundstage in the background
I like foobar2000 best hence I'd like to solev its error message
perhaps it is something in its preferences but I don't know what

Hi,

Google finds a number of blogs containing your reported error code. Problems seem to be driver related. Which output option are you using in Foobar ( Wasapi exclusive, Wasapi shared, DS ). If you are using Wasapi exclusive another program can not be connected to same output device at the same time.

Err.exe says: AUDCLNT_E_DEVICE_IN_USE
