%s in flac encoder command line

Does anyone know what the %s in the flac command line does?  Does it matter where in the command line it is?

"No," and "I'm pretty sure it does."

I may be wrong but I'm assuming that the %s goes with the "--best."

You think not?

%s in an EAC commandline is replaced by the source filename.
It has no meaning whatsoever outside of EAC.
"To understand me, you'll have to swallow a world." Or maybe your words.

In that case I'm thinking it probably won't make much difference where it shows up in the command line.

I did find this info:

---
EAC Flags
%s Source filename
%d Destination filename
%h...%h Text "..." only when "High quality" selected
%l...%l Text "..." only when "Low quality" selected
%c...%c Text "..." only when "CRC checksum" selected
%r Bitrate ("32".."320")
