Very slow playlist population from WebDAV server on a local network. Any FIX?

Hi. I have mapped a folder from WebDAV server on my local network to a network drive on Windows and now I want to add files from that network drive to foobar playlist. When I drag the folder to a playlist a dialog window appears where I can see that it takes about 10 seconds for each song (MP3, about 5-10MB) to get processed. What is it actually doing all that time? Is there any setting that I can adjust so that it simply ads all files to a playlist right away and then only buffers or processes (or whatever it is doing?) the file that is about to be played back?

In windows explorer folders from this networked drive open quite fast showing all the files/folders, so there's no problem with that.

I have a huge remote folder with music that I want to play. It would take weeks to add it to a playlist like that. Is there any FIX for this?
