Orange Pi for my audio system

Just completed this project. The Orange Pi Plus replaces a desktop PC. For anybody that isn't familiar with what an Orange Pi is, it is a small "single board" computer, similar to the popular "rasberry pi", but a little more powerful. Comes with a 4-core ARM, memory, SD slot, USB slots and a SATA port....

I installed one of the several Linux images available, Ubuntu, MPD, Ecasound, SOX, and some LADSPA plugins. I access my music files over a wired network, and have connected an inexpensive USB sound "card". I use this for a crossover as well as my music server.

While the project wasn't without some frustration, as documentation is scarce, the results are as good as I could have wanted. The Pi is silent, small, and easily handles the load. During music playing, the system is about 85% idle, and only using 15% processor. I've had zero dropouts or other audible issue. I cannot tell any difference from the PC, nor would I expect any. Anybody wants to talk about this kind of thing or ask for help, I'm here.
