Here you go:
http://www.etymotic.com/
The models you will likely want to consider are the ER-6, $139, and the ER-4P, $330, and the ER-4S, $330.  Shop around (say, for example, http://www.headphone.com) for the best price. (That last URL isn't a bad place to look for other choices, either.)

There is a difference between the ER-4S and ER-4P: the ER-4P has higher sensitivity, the ER-4S has a more accurate frequency response. The ER-4P is often better for portable players, because it doesn't require as much power to achieve the same volume. But the ER-4S will provide a little more accurate freuency response, and if your player can drive them, go for it.

But take note, these are combination earplug/earphone---they are designed to provide quite a bit of isolation from external noise. So, they're not good for situations where you need to hear the ambient noise around you!

The Etymotic ER-4P sound and fit better than Sony earbuds, but emit a thump if the cord hits or rubs another surface.  Given this, you might prefer regular headphones; the Grado SR60, retailing at $69, surpass the Etymotic sound/fit  and work well with portable audio.

I drape my Ety 4Ps down my back to prevent microphonic noise (and sometimes wrap them around my ears).  They are the best headphones ever for me!  If you want the 4Ss sound, just make or buy a converter cable for the ER-4Ps.  For under $10, you can add the extra resistance to the frequencies to equal the 4Ss in sound, and then remove the cable for when you are on the go (4Ss tend to require amps, 4Ps are designed to run directly off of portable music players).

Wow, that is truly a great find for these Etymotics. That pretty much removes any reservation I would have about purchasing them. Thanks for the link!

Or you can go low budget with Koss "The Plug" earbuds and do the "cmoy" mod.
