Metaphor's AAC Test Sample

The sample included with this post is the reference file for a problem that I've been having while encoding using any of the latest Nero VBR AAC profiles. When encoding in QT/iTunes, I do not.

The aural artifacts that I hear while using Ahead's VBR implimentation is what I would describe as "chattering" of the fade in of this sample. Perchance it is, something that I'm doing, but I've tried both on my laptop as well as on two PC's at home. I've found that the distortions remain regardless of upping the VBR presets, as described in the original post in AAC Tech. I hope this is useful for further optimization of the Nero AAC encoder libraries.
