Logitech Mx Duo and Foobar2000

I'd like to use my keyboard to control foobar2000
there's a problem when foobar2000 is not in focus
the program will not respond to my keys, unlike
foobar, winamp does respond when it's minimized.
is there a work-around this issue? anyone know
how i can make foobar2000 be controlled when
it's minimized?

Kill your keyboard software, bind the MM keys as global hotkeys.
