Preferences -> File Types -> tick "Folder context menus". That'll give you what you want.

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but to save others from searching any further, I thought this updated and extra info would be of use.

File > Preferences > Shell Integration > Folder context menus

If it's still not showing, disable Windows Media Player.…

Click the start button and type or paste "windows features", and then click on Turn Windows features on or off > Media Features > un-check Windows Media Player.

Reboot.

Along the lines of opening a folder or even some random files not in a "media folder"...

Is there a way to refresh the contents short of removing the files from the playlist and opening them again?
I use fb2k for converting a lot and sometimes I'll edit the audio in another program of even fiddle with the tags using Mp3Tag. Fb2k does update the files but only when you play one. It'd be nice if when you open a folder containing audio files fb2k would monitor it for changes as it does the media folders, only on a temporary basis.

Or am I missing something obvious?

Cheers.

select files - right click - Tagging - Reload info from file(s)  ?

That seems to do it. Close enough to a Playlist refresh menu item.

It was disabled under Context Menus in preferences and I must have missed it. Possibly because it's under the Tagging menu and and I was thinking along the lines of Utility or File Operation. But anyway....

Thanks for that.

Disabled items will always show up if you hold the Shift key before opening the menus.
