DTS Introduces New Suite Of Pro-Audio Encoders

Although this seems aimed at the "Pro-audio community" , you might want to know anyway.

DTS has announced new versions of their encoder products.
Quote
DTS is offering two new stand-alone encoders for both Mac and PC: a 48 kHz / 5.1 package, and a 48 kHz / 5.1-channel plus 96 kHz / ES encoder package. The 96 kHz / ES package encompasses all of the capability of the 48 kHz encoders, but also adds the ability to create 96 kHz or 6.1-channel discrete extended surround DTS soundtracks.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

Their sales department is a bit cryptic and you actually have to meet some people in your area to get info on the encoder itself, so does anyone know of anyother application Sony's SoundForge/Vegas maybe that would be using this?

Wouldn't this software likely be an update of the existing SurCode encoders?
