FAAD 2 in beta state

Menno announced today on audiocoding.com forum (More info at http://www.audiocoding.com/phorum/read.php?f=1&i=1049&t=1049 ) the availability of faad2 (as code) to be tested.

It's completely new and has no ISO code anymore.

For the ones who don't use CVS and/or a compiler, I've uploaded a test binary to
http://www.inf.ufpr.br/~rja00/

Regards;

Roberto.

rjamorim,

What platforms does FAAD2 compile on? Is it Windows only?

Thanks!

I only compiled it in windows.

Some people reported success compiling it on Linux, on Audiocoding Forum, but, the only time I tried, GCC output lots of error messages.

It compiles, but you have to do modifications in the code. Maybe Menno can help you more.

Roberto.

I am not wanting asking about this for myself, I was just curious how cross-platform it is.
