Any way to prevent "New" Media Player from changing Folder.jpg to 200x200

Is there a way to prevent the "New" Media Player in Windows 11 from changing Folder.jpg? Like you could prevent it in the old Windows Media Player (Now called Legacy). Also, preventing it from creating the large and small albumart files?
Thanks
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences]
"LargeAlbumArtSize"=dword:ffffffff
"SmallAlbumArtSize"=dword:ffffffff

If you rename your original artwork, e.g. "cover.jpg", does that survive?  I'd think Microsoft's media player will create from it whatever "folder_xxx.jpg" files it needs and leave the original alone.
