Daphile - Audiophile Music Server & Player OS

Hi All.
I've been using Daphile for some time and it's a very good software for my audio system.
I've got one problem, when I fix usb drive and try to copy 100GB files to an internal drive with daphile it take over 30hours.
I have android tablet and copy files with total commander connected via lan with daphile.
Do you know any solutions to copy files faster using tablet?
Maybe SSh client but how to connect with Daphile via ssh?

Sorry for my english

Adam

Hi,

The problem is that internal drive and USB drive are provided as different shares by Daphile. I think the copying happens in this case so that everything goes via your tablet and that (wireless connection) slows down the copying. You could try to do the copying using another wired connected PC. Unfortunately there isn't currently any other easy solution. If you have some Linux experience you could also boot the PC with another Linux Live USB and do the copying "locally" (the right directory for music on DaphileData partition is /user/music).

Previous release (Sep 16th 2014) had a bug related to CIFS mounting when a username is used. It is now fixed and the new version is available.
