Title: Virus in flac110m.exe ?
Post by: .halverhahn on 2004-08-16 16:34:13
My SophosAntivirus claims that flac110m.exe from http://cyberial.com/flacinstaller.asp (http://cyberial.com/flacinstaller.asp) (the official download link from http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html) (http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html)) contains Troj/Multidr-KE.

Hopefully this is a false positive!

If you need a second opinion about what's scanned use free online virus scanners such as Panda ActiveScan (http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan) or Trend Micro HouseCall (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp). Panda ActiveScan only works with Internet Explorer. HouseCall works with any browser that is Java capable, however if you use Internet Explorer with it there are no plugins to download and manually install.
