including metadata: Title, Album Artist, Publisher, etc.

How can I include the metadata in copy/ripping process?

Please advise.
Thanks, Tracey
CDex v1.90
I can copy/rip tracks with Windows Media Player which does include the metadata, but the resultant file size is much larger.

Have you got cddb lookup configured and enabled? Are your CD tracks identified in the window before you start ripping?

I would use dBpoweramp or CUETools or EAC for ripping.
dBpoweramp is easy to set up.
CUETools has Discogs as metadata source, in addition to MusicBrainz.
EAC is what "everyone" uses, so it would be easier to get help.

Because it is .wav, I guess?

Rip to FLAC. Lossless, compressed (smaller files), and it is a checksummed format, so one can always check integrity.
Your existing .wav files can be converted without loss.
