After an ATI driver update, I can no longer import fcl's. Is chronflow the problem? For the hell of it, I found a config on Deviant Art that doesn't use chronflow and it imported fine. Otherwise, an import with a chronflow requirement crashes foobar. I'm assuming chronflow is the issue.

So my question is: Is there any way to use your config without a chronflow import requirement?

Uhm is it intentional that the artist isn't displayed in the background by default? Now I have to click the alien cat every time I want the artists to show.

Otherwise it's a fine update

Last post on page syndrome.

Btw you will have this problem all the time since the changes/additions in the docs aren't highlighted. And nobody will bother reading the entire thing to find the few changes.

I just did a brand new foobar2000 install and got the full kameleon pack and imported the fcl and then noticed when I hover over a track that the popup is white box only. Am I missing some setting setup?

It shows comments

No comment = no pop-up

Add a comment and try it then

not a doc addition Andu, all was discribed since the 1st release, but as i see, you'ven't read it the first time too

B/ Panel Stack Splitter settings (panels that can be shown/hidden on startup)

Default layout display the left panel with 3 mini panels (ART, LYR and SPE) + right panel (collapsed). For your convenience, you can choose which panels to show/hide on startup if these don't match your tastes

1. for the mini-panels in the Left Panel, Right click on the Left Panel header (ART PHO LYR ... SPE) and enter Splitter settings,

then for each panel beggining by "->", you can check or not the 'hide panel on startup' option (restart needed of course coz of startup options )

btw, when i make additions in the doc, i indicate it in the change log ! The next time i'll use highlight effects for you ...

1.1a :
- album list panel and playlist switcher panel moved to the left panel as mini-panels
- added QuickSearch toolbar always visible at the bottom of the left panel + Quicksearch buttons to look for same ... artist/album/title or genre
- added 2 buttons + and - to collapse/expand groups in the active playlist
- bug fix in Track info panel about db info doubled + some alignement fixes
- added a new button in the playlist header area to hide/show the top panel (Path + Google buttons + Last.FM radio button)
- added a grid dot background for the now playing panel (under scrolling texts)
- added Popups in ELPlaylist on Track mouseover if %comment% exists (display the comment in the popup)
- added Popups in the right Graphical Browsers (artist + album for Cover case mode, artist name for photo mode)
- dropdown menu entries are now transparent
- documentation updated below (popup transparency in ELP, statistics &rating : where to store them? ... ), check chapter D
- tweaks

Edit: typo

Erm thx for not being patronizing

Have you actually checked chapter D? Because after reading the changelog (before downloading the new version) I did. The force wallpaper thing is not mentioned in that chapter.

Just for the heck of it I tried to be fair and ran a string search on both the terms 'force' and 'wallpaper' in your docs too. Neither leads to a passage in the docs that could solve that issue.

But yea the problem is obviously with me

Edit: Oh wait I'm supposed to magically know that there is a new entry in the Panel Splitter Settings or that you've changed a value in there.

as said, there  is NO new entry !! all was explain in the doc since the beginning, but i see that you don't want to understand... that's a shame ...

Kameleon by Br3tt

Oh I understand you perfectly well but you don't seem to understand me.

Once again.

1) The doc does not mention that there is an option to force a wallpaper.
2) The changelog does not mention that such an option was added or that a preexisting option was changed.

So unless you expect every user to know each option by heart and actually review every single panel on every update there is no way in hell anybody can know this. Especially not somebody that doesn't have the time to read every single post in this thread.

But like I said it's obvious that the fault lies with me.

well, i guess string search doesn't search in the screenshots  -> Force Wallpaper - tick/untick hide panel on startup? is this helpful?

Br3tt is working his ass off with pleasing people around and some here are acting like "whining little bitches" (damn, i've always wanted to say that )

99% problems here is already solved in docs, you just have to read and look carefully
