Wait, do you mean USB Attached SCSI (UAS / UASP)?
UAS is an improvement over MSC, but both are SCSI.

But  can't find much about ATAPI at all.
ATAPI is an extension of ATA to squeeze SCSI through a connection that only supports ATA. In order to use ATAPI over USB, you would need to then wrap those ATAPI commands in SCSI.

Perhaps find a 5.25in enclosure for optical SATA drives (with USB 3.0 on the other end), and then use an IDE-SATA adapter inside?
If you choose this option, make sure the IDE/SATA adapter supports optical drives.
Opus / Re: Harmonic coding issues of Opus(from THD-N test)

Yes, you are right for most signals the energy located everywhere. But there are lot of instruments, some of them produce sinusoidal signals, in this case, opus introduce clear distortion. I checked it with LC3 plus codec, the sinusoidal distortion is much lower. I mean, anybody can help to check if opus could be improved for instrumental applications.

Don't think it's worth having to use 3rd party stuff, it's not that important.  I'm getting used to hitting the 'Stop' button after loading files anyway.

Just seemed odd playback always starts automatically with no way to turn that off?  Oh well, so much for that one.

Thanks again for the replies.

xd not a competition, but all that seems possible with the current framework. This bit calculates the height along multiple lines with wrapping.
And alignment is just a matter of setting the flags.

Anyway it's a pain to re-create the layout functions manually, so I will probably stick to something a bit simpler in terms of formatting.

Personally I have better things to do than this thing xd it was just a matter of showing it can be done and people is just lazy or have not tried to edit the current scripts to their needs. And in such case, just use marc's JSP script which is complete.

Thanks for the reply. I do appreciate the help, but I didn't really want to 'Add' Files or Folders to the current list. Guess I should have explained that a bit further earlier.

I was just wanting to have new files load while clearing the previous list of files, just as File>Open does, only without having playback start automatically. Seemed like that should be possible, but maybe not?
