Hi,

I've tried to install everything as told in the readme, but all I've ended up with is this ...

what's gone wrong?

Sascha

Hi,

I have the same problem and I was wondering if you had found a solution in the meantime.
Hope you can help me, this skin rules.

Here is another vandalism of Br3tt's great X-change configuration...

[a href="http://img197.imageshack.us/i/myfooconfig.jpg/" target="_blank"] ) with hundreds of code lines missing or leading to dead ends... Br3tt? any ideas? I have zipped my entire foobar2000 folder but i'm not sure that its going to work if i unzip it on a new pc or a new installation of windows... Anyway, i did my best..it took me 4 days to make it...the code was very complex for me to fully understand it and work with it properly...

at least i "took a picture of it" while it is alive..

I suppose doing one that looks like CD cases instead of vinyls would be much difficult...

I don't think that they would want to have such a realistic and limited perspective in their coverflow...Apple follows the practical way..(someone can see more of the next or previous album covers), but its not close to reality...

CD cases are not practical too, they waste space in the screen (and maybe more gpu or memory) just for eye candy...I think that the standard coverflow (without cases), is the best idea...its minimal and it works..

The best think that could happen to Chronflow though is a flip/tracklist like on the original coverflow...that could be an excellent thing!!! Chronial??? What do you say?

I've started configuring my first skin after a long time of trying to find something I want and not being able to. (This is a very rough mockup of the layout I am going for) I want to move this from NG Playlist to EL Playlist as soon as I can; but this might give you a better idea of what I am going for (except darker menus and a bigger spectral at the top).

My plan for the skin is pretty great, I just need to improve in my coding skills

Thanks for looking.

Hey Robin,

Would you mind sharing your config, please ? I like this one.

A lot of work went into this really simple layout - turns out the hardest thing to do in foobar2000 (especially if, like me, you're an amateur who knows nothing about coding) is to make it look really plain and simple!

Here is mine, I basically took these two:

Flex - v.0.2
monolite hybrid

and kind of mashed 'um together, so all credit should go to them.

You guys have some great layouts - very cool.

Here you go. Note that I have written in discogs tags to the headers, you might want to change those if you don't use them. You will also need foo_uie_vis_channel_spectrum

Nothing fancy, just something I've been playing around with.  Plan to add some buttons underneath the artist picture for jumping to useful webpages.

Style adapted from a screenshot of a theme posted by Sinusoid.

Here is mine:

A little bit bloated... And I'm afraid it will be worst when I will have time to play with panel stack splitter & track info mod...

Here is my first real attempt at a UI using PSS.  It's based off of the MonoLite design with a few ideas taken from some of the skins in this thread. It still needs some work but I'm happy with it so far.

I found out what the matter was : dlls were not the latest, especially foo_uie_wsh_panel_mod.dll
When I got the latest version, it worked out.

I won't comment on screen-shots, but on unnecessary quoting same screen-shot multiple times
BTW it seems that DUI gallery is in bigger mess then this
(it was)

How do you group your config?

Try something like this:
Code: [Select]
%album artist%[ / %album%][ / %date%]
$tab()
[$meta(genre,0)][ | $meta(style,0)]
