Title: foobar2000 Analog VU meter Editor
Post by: pybrick on 2013-03-08 08:57:56
How do I edit / make my own analog VU meter for foobar2000? I know there is a specific editor, but all the links I found were directed to the currently dead Google Sites page. Does anyone have the program needed to mod the analog VU meters?

The program:
VUEditorGUI.exe

The Google Sites link. For me, it's a dead link.

The one from http://rghost.net/43882406 (http://rghost.net/43882406) is dated February 18, 2013 06:32 and doesn't wake up KAV.
Double check it just to be sure and use it at your own risk.

Sorry to wake up an old thread, but I've been searching for the VUEditor and all the likns I can find (including the ones above) appear to be dead.
If anyone here has a copy, can I please ask to upload it in the Uploads subforum?
TIA

Sorry to wake a napping horse, but what can this file actually accomplish? A short tutorial if anyone has used it, would be awesome. If it allows me to change meter faces and pointers on the analog vu meters, I'd be in heaven. TBH, I have like enough computer work going here to kill ten IT Superheros, so I haven't tinkered with it.

Can anyone tell me if this VU Editor can make 'light up' peak meter's as well?  If not, where can I get a program to do that?

Thanks.

Hello guys,

I would like to know how to open or extract the .bin files of the vumeters. I want to edit some needle speeds and would need to be able to work with the garbage can files.

Apparently it is a foobar2k vumeter editor file.

But I haven't managed to do it so far, so I find myself needing to ask for your help. Thanks!
