And the up and down arrow icons on the scrollbar can't show.

Install this font.
Has already installed before. Only the folder icons and playback icon are shown correctly, up/down scrollbar icons are shown yet.
As for the playback status icon, a musical note looks a bit weird to me in my personal opinion. I rather prefer something like just a simple play button:
or a speaker like icon:

Foobar2000 Mobile:Skin file format

Just edit the "Example skins" at the bottom and load and select it.
"Foobar2000MobileSkinDesigner" is not required.
for example
Disable it by putting "//" at the beginning.

foobar2000 mobile / Playback screen Customization
Last post by Bongert -
I realize that this is a very minor issue but its started bothering me quite a bit recently for no good reason.
I've been using the app for a while now and enjoyed the default skin. But very recently i noticed that the playback screen shows infos on filetype and bitrate under artist, album and tracktitle. i dont know if this was in a recent update or if i simply never noticed it before.
maybe im imagining things but i was pretty sure that at some point i was able to make some customization to the playback screen, what it shows on there, etc. but i cant seem to find an option for it anywhere anymore.
to get to the point, i want to remove the file type and bitrate information from the playback screen because its unnecessary clutter.
using the alternative skin isnt an option because it moves the shuffle and loop buttons into a sub menu, which i dont want.

assuming there is no other solution, would it be possible to modify the default skin myself using the tools for skin customization to only remove that bit of info and nothing else?
Support - (fb2k) / Re: Title Bar Button Issues with Foobar2000

Despite what the authors or support personnel of AWM software told, the issue is in their software. If they inject their own code into third party processes they should also make sure that their code works correctly.

It's not foobar's job to recognize third party software and provide special hacks for them.

Thank you for the feedback. I notified AWM product/technical support staff on their forums page.

The support staff noted that, while the titlebar buttons don't work on DUI, they do with with CUI. Why would that be the case?

It looks like there is a conflict with the foo_multisource (by @veksha) and foo_quicksearch plugins.
Yes, that is right. After removing "foo_multisource" the player starts as expected.

@veksha , @NEMO7538
I experienced the same issue with QuickSearch and and MultiSource Plugins in Foobar2000 2.installed. Foobar2000 v2.1.5 x64 crashes every 2nd or 3rd startup and occurs seemingly randomly. A screenshot of the crash window and error logs are attached.

Is the plugin incompatibility due to QuickSearch or MultiLyrics? I am leaning toward QuickSearch since the incompatibility didn't pop up until QS was updated.
MP3 - General / Re: Resurrecting/Preserving the Helix MP3 encoder
Last post by maikmerten -
When experimenting with web radio usage, it turned out that hmp3 would create very bursty output, with many MP3 frames being emitted every few seconds. That's because by default, hmp3 fetches ~3 seconds of input data, then encodes and outputs that audio, then fetches another big chunk of audio. For file-based use cases, that's desirable to avoid I/O-overhead.

For web radio, that's potentially problematic. Thus hmp3 now switches to a "low delay" mode when outputting to stdout. In this mode, input audio is consumed and encoded in small chunks (as few bytes as the encoder expects for a complete MP3 frame), which lowers the delay and creates a more evenly spaced stream of packets.

Wow, this seems promising. Me being a dunderhead, I'm compelled to start messing with this in Linux under WINE. ::) It's, uh, not working. Can you believe it?

I did find an installer for WebView2 and installed that. However, fb2k just crashes as soon as I try to play anything. I even have to kill the process manually after the crash report dialog closes. I'll include that, FWIW.

I don't expect that this is on your radar, nor should it be right now, if ever. I only mention it in hopes that someone similarly afflicted can chime in with their brilliant fix.

Thanks, that seems to explain it. It's the problem of classical music listeners maybe. Reminds me of Poweramp on Android, which displays wrong embedded album art for tracks which share the same metadata. (E.g. different performances of a Shostakovich work may be tagged with similar album/composer/artist/title tags, they differ in rather custom tags, I use %conductor%, %ensemble% %work% etc.)
