Using EAC 1.6 with Pioneer BDR-XD07UHD USB DVD/Blu-Ray Burner

Can't rip Audio Cd's because I get sync errors on the first track. Other times I can rip half way through but get a file creation error on one of the tracks. Can someone help me figure this out please?

Partial opacity is one reason for 0 peak level all tracks (can also cause read/sync and/or Suspicious position errors):
  • dirty, cloudy polycarbonate (try cleaning with mild soap & water, dry with non-abrasive microfiber cloth)
  • damaged polycarbonate by improper cleaning (harsh chemical / abrasive cloth / paper towel)

Opacity can also stem from heat damage or disc rot (separation, oxidation and/or opacity between the reflective layer and polycarbonate).

Speed can be an issue on scratched or partially opaque CDs. Your log shows the rip at a rather high speed.
EAC offers a couple of speed options:
F10 or (EAC > Drive Options) > Offset / Speed tab:
Speed selection - (not supported by all drives) allows you to set an extraction speed.
Allow speed reduction during extraction - (not fully supported by all drives) allows EAC to automatically reduce drive speed on read errors then speed back up. Not all drives will speed back up. As this option only reduces speed on read errors the option may not help for partially opaque CDs.
