Navigator Suite v1.4.x
KNOWN ISSUES:
READ THIS! IMPORTANT
All configuration is done at the beginning of the global-string. You don't need to change any strings in the columns-screen. Don't ask for support and don't report bugs if you changed anything outside of the configuration-sections.
How Albummode and Singlemode works:
"Navigator" comes with two fcs-versions - "Albummode default" and "Singlemode default". Both variants support both modes, but they differ in the priority as of which of the modes is the "default".
The non-default mode is activated by certain keywords in the name of a playlist. When for example you use "Albummode-default" then you can activate Singlemode by having "-s-", "single" or "default" somewhere in the name of your playlist. With the "Singlemode-default" Version, you can enable albummode by having "-a-" or "album" somewhere in the name of your playlist.
Do NOT try to manually force Single/Albummode in the column-prefs: This will break things badly. Only enable album/singlemode with the method explained above(playlistname-keywords). Some people seem to not get this, so i'll repeat it a second time: You can NOT change how album- and singlemode is triggered by simply changing the settings in the column-preferences!
How Hybrid-Mode works: Hybrid-Mode means having single-tracks in Albummode. A track is considered a single in the following cases:
- it is trackgained but not albumgained
- no tracknumber could be detected(either via tag or guessing)
- it has a singletrack-tag
- it has a TOTALTRACKS value of "1"
Individual columns can be enabled and disabled by just rightclicking on the column-headers in the playlist.
Editing tags right in the playlist(inline fieldediting): Some areas in the playlist allow to directly edit the tags of the track by simply clicking the area two times. This is an "afterthought-feature" in Navigator - it does not work perfectly and there are no plans to improve it for the 1.4.x series. It will however be implemented in a better way someday in the future(no ETA).
You can change which lines are displayed in the systray-popup by going to the "Title Formatting"-Page under "Display" in the Preferences. There choose the systray-tab and you will see a config-section where you can individually enable/disable whats shown in the systray.
There is currently no way for the FCS to automatically change the playlist background-color depending on the choosen color-scheme. To change it manually, go to the ui_columns prefs, "Playlist-view"-section, colors and fonts tab. Under "Colors" change the "Background" color to whatever you like.
FEEDBACK, QUESTIONS, BUG-REPORTS, ETC:
Please don't mail or PM me. You're welcome to post feedback in the following ha.org forum-thread. This will avoid multiple people asking the same questions and also makes it easier for me to keep track of things.
Do not post any bugs or feature-requests in that thread without having read everything above on this page.
