Best way to AB/ABX different sample rates?

Hey all,

I'm trying to find an authoritative answer on the best way to AB and ABX test across different sample rates. For example, I'd like to test across:

24 / 22.05
24 / 44.1
24 / 96
24 / 192

My plan is to use 24 / 192 samples, down-sampled to the lower rates. Would tools like ABX comparator allow me to switch between sample-rates on the fly (using ASIO), or would I need to then upsample the lower rates for the test itself?

Many thanks for any help/useful links you can provide on the question of frequency rate tests. :)
